From 9.-11. In November 2018, the European Forum for Progressive, Environmental and Left Forces took place in Bilbao. Over 400 participants from 120 political parties, trade unions, foundations, NGOs and movements came together to discuss various topics such as migration, socio-ecological transformation, counter-strategies against the shift to the right in Europe or even feminist struggles.
This forum aims to be a meeting place for representatives of left and ecological parties as well as trade unions and social organizations. The aim is to unite the many forces fighting and fighting in Europe to rebuild a common future of peace and social, environmental and democratic progress in a fair and inclusive Europe.

The final declaration agreed to continue the cooperation and to demand a Charter for a sovereign democracy in Europe.
