In this book, Leftist forces from both sides of the Mediterranean share their views on some features of the international situation of their countries and the Mediterranean region in general.
The sometimes different opinions across the Mediterranean are complemented by a common theoretical, political, economic, social and environmental research, for a mutual understanding of the nature of the conflict in the Mediterranean countries and its consequences and challenges.
The European Left and its partner parties in the South Mediterranean hope that this book can support the creation of a unified vision and a road map of what can be done together to present a valuable political and intellectual alternative to neoliberal capitalism, sectarian and ethnic extremism, and tyrannical regimes.
