On the night of May 3rd, some heavily armed mercenary commandos coming from Colombia by sea attempted to illegally disembark at various points on the Venezuelan coast. Thanks to the prompt response from the Venezuelan security forces and “social intelligence”, the action was thwarted, with a balance of several arrests, among those arrested are 2 people of US nationality, formerly belonging to the US Special Forces and currently private “Security contractors”.
The objective of the command was to assassinate members of the government, carry out violent attacks and create confusion in the country to attempt a new coup. This new coup attempt, coincidentally, comes a few weeks after the threats made by the Trump Administration betting warships against Venezuela, with the complicity of Colombia.
This kind of actions actions, like those implemented since Juan Guaidò’s self-proclamation, are part of the so-called “constructive chaos”, with the idea of creating a scenario of violence, to promote large-scale social unrest, sabotaging public services (water, electricity, transport or food), to promote a social explosion that facilitates a coup.
For all this, the Party of the European Left:
– Joins in the denunciations made by President Nicolás Maduro about the repeated attacks by the Trump administration, done in open violation of international law and also to cover up his dramatic inability to confront Covid-19.
– Expresses its solidarity with the legitimate government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, which has declared the highest alert and demands an immediate end to Trump’s terrorist actions and the criminal blockade of the United States.
– It demands a clear and firm condemnation of these coup attempts by the European Union and its member states, the adoption of a political orientation independent of that of the Trump government, as well as the immediate cessation of sanctions, to allow Venezuela to face the pandemic and its serious economic and social consequences.

¡YA BASTA DEL TERRORISMO DE TRUMP Y DE SUS MERCENARIOS CONTRA VENEZUELA!
En la noche del 3 de mayo, algunos comandos de mercenarios fuertemente armados que venían de Colombia por mar intentaron desembarcar ilegalmente en varios puntos de la costa venezolana. Gracias a la pronta respuesta de las fuerzas de seguridad venezolanas y a la “inteligencia social”, la acción se vio frustrada, con un balance de varios arrestados dos de ellos de nacionalidad estadounidense, ex pertenecientes a Fuerzas especiales USA y en la actualidad “Security contractors” privados.
El objetivo del comando era capturar y asesinar a miembros del gobierno, llevar a cabo atentados violentos y seguir en la desestabilizacion del país para intentar un nuevo golpe de estado. Esta nueva intentona golpista, casualmente, se produce unas semanas después de las amenazas vertidas por la Administración Trump apostando buques de guerra frente a Venezuela, con la complicidad de Colombia.
Este tipo de acciones, como las implementadas desde la autoproclamación de Juan Guaidó, son parte del llamado “caos constructivo” con la idea de crear un escenario de violencia, para promover disturbios sociales a gran escala, saboteando los servicios públicos (agua, electricidad, transporte o alimentos), para que se dé una explosión social que facilite un golpe.
Por todo ello el Partido de la Izquierda Europea:
– Se suma a las denuncias hechas por el presidente Nicolás Maduro sobre los repetidos ataques de la administración Trump, en abierta violación de la legalidad internacional y también para encubrir su dramática incapacidad para enfrentar el Covid-19.
– Expresa su solidaridad con el gobierno legítimo de la República Bolivariana de Venezuela, que ha declarado la máxima alerta y exige el fin inmediato de las acciones terroristas de Trump y del bloqueo criminal de Estados Unidos.
– Exige una condena clara y firme a estas intentonas golpistas por parte de la Union europea y los países miembros, la adopcion de una orientacion politica independiente de la del Gobierno Trump, asì como el inmediato cese de las sanciones, para permitir a Venezuela enfrentar la pandemia y sus graves consecuencias económicas y sociales.
