This debate takes place on the 20th anniversary of the 2001 Genoa mobilisation days and aims to take a look at the prospects for the alternative here and now.
Twenty years of the “victories” of neoliberal globalisation have led to an unparalleled catastrophe in which the risks of war merge with the climatic, social, and democratic crisis. In this context in which the alternative of socialism or barbarism returns, what are the paths and prospects for the alternative? Which social actors can be leveraged, which are the immediate objectives and the concrete paths to follow?

Ce débat a lieu à l’occasion du vingtième anniversaire de la mobilisation de Gênes en 2001 et vise à donner un aperçu des perspectives de l’alternative ici et maintenant.
Vingt ans de “victoires” de la mondialisation néolibérale ont conduit à une catastrophe sans précédent où les risques de guerre se confondent avec la crise climatique, sociale et démocratique. Dans ce contexte où revient l’alternative socialisme ou barbarie, quelles sont les voies et les perspectives de l’alternative ? Quels acteurs sociaux peuvent être mis à contribution, quels sont les objectifs immédiats et les pistes concrètes à suivre ?
