To include Cuba in this defamatory and selective list of countries that do not cooperate with the fight against terrorism is a shameful and explicit aggression to Cuban people and to international solidarity!
Yesterday, Tuesday May 13th, the US State Department included Cuba, among other countries such as Venezuela, in the blacklist of nations that “do not fully cooperate in anti-terrorism efforts.”
The first Vice President of the Party of the European Left, Maite Mola, has declared in the face of this new aggression, that since the arrival of Donald Trump at the White House in January 2017 the attacks on the people of Cuba and that of Venezuela have not stopped.
Mola added that it is regrettable that the peoples are punished and in the case of Cuba, who applies international solidarity with its health workers by sending them in the face of the COVID19 pandemic to those countries that have requested it, it is also shameful.
Lastly, she pointed out that facing these events, both the EU and European governments must demand the implementation of the UN decisions to lift embargoes and blockades by the US and its accomplices, in the face of a very serious crisis that affects the entire planet.

¡Incluir a Cuba en una lista difamatoria y selectiva de países que no cooperan con la lucha contra el terrorismo es una agresión vergonzosa al pueblo cubano y la solidaridad internacional!
El Departamento de Estado de EEUU incluyó ayer, martes 13 de mayo, a Cuba, entre otros países como Venezuela, en la lista negra de naciones que “no cooperan completamente en los esfuerzos antiterroristas”.
La Vicepresidenta primera del Partido de la Izquierda Europea, Maite Mola, ha declarado ante esta nueva agresión, que desde la llegada de Donald Trump a la Casa Blanca en enero de 2017 los ataques al pueblo de Cuba y al de Venezuela no han cesado.
Mola ha añadido que es lamentable que se castigue a los pueblos y en el caso del cubano, que aplica la solidaridad internacional con sus sanitarios enviándoles ante la pandemia del COVID19 a aquellos países que lo han solicitado, es tambien vergonzoso.
Por último ha señalado que ante estos hechos tanto la UE como los gobiernos europeos deben exigir que se cumplan las decisiones de la ONU de levantar embargos y bloqueos por parte de EEUU y sus cómplices, ante una crisis gravísima que afecta a todo el Planeta.
