Statement by Maite Mola, Vice President of the Party of European Left (EL)
Lenin Moreno, president of Ecuador, has permitted the British police to enter into the Ecuadorian Embassy in London in order to arrest Julian Assange.
What Moreno has done is an attack to the human rights and endangers the journalists’ life. We as Party of the European Left are condemning this act and ask the international community to oppose his extradition to the US. What will the US pay to the actual president of Ecuador for this betrayal?
