The European Left forcefully condemns the cowardly attack on the HDP office in Izmir and the murder of HDP worker and member Deniz Poyraz.
Our solidarity and support go to Ms. Poyraz’s family and to the HDP.
The attack is the result of the intimidatory attitude foster by Erdogan’s administration against democratic forces in Turkey.
EU leaders must react to the ongoing campaign carried on against progressive and democratic in Turkey.
